Hannah is 3 months old!

Hannah turned 3 months old last Thursday, the 27th! She is smiling and making noises all the time now. She has both dimples on her cheeks.

She is definitely letting me sleep more and is learning to fall asleep on her own. We love and enjoy her "so, so, soo much," as Malachi would say! Her hair is long enough that I can grab it and make a pony tail in the middle of her hair. Jacob says she looks like Pebbles Flinstone when I scrunch her hair that way. All we need now is a Bamm-Bamm. :)

She is moving! She started off being parallel to the long side of the crib and ended like this in less than a couple of minutes.

Patrick and Luree said...: ok, so I was looking at these pics of hannah and seriously, I could not but help and think that in some of them I felt like I was looking at my own baby pics. Just to confirm it wasn't in my head alone, I took out my photo album and had patrick compare the two of us...he agreed. Just thought you might get a laugh out of that...and fyi, I think I had just as much hair as her at that age, my mom has this pic of me around 3 or 4 months old with my hair pig tails! lol; May 18, 2011 at 1:17 PM
Familia Balanzategui Pastor said...: Hahaha...that is funny! She definitely gets it from her aunts. Because I had as much hair as Malachi when I was a baby. Norma on the other hand, also had a bunch of hair! When you get a chance send me a baby picture of you. I'd love to put that down in Hannah's journal!

Our Story

Jacob and I met with the help of my uncle, David Martinez. My uncle was the bishop of a ward Jacob served in during his mission. He gave Jacob my cell phone number, or so Jacob thought, during a phone call Jacob had with him after his mission. I had already met Jacob during his last two weeks of his mission, Norma introduced us, because his last area was my home ward. Jacob and I started hanging out in Provo when Fall school semester started at the Y. And that's how it all started.

Jacob and I were married on June 2, 2007 in Dallas, Texas.

We lived in Provo, UT while both of us finished school on April 2010. Jacob majored in Sociology and I graduated in Chemistry.

We lived on the East Coast, Delaware to be exact, for almost 2.5 years! We enjoyed it. Made some amazing friends! I loved the warm, mild climate and all the green trees! I guess because it reminds me of good ole' Texas.

We recently moved to Frisco, Texas. And are loving the area!!

We have a 5 year old boy who's into action figures and loves music. He will start kindergarten this Fall 2013 and is learning to read. He is good at math. He has the most charitable heart and is the best big brother a sister could have.

Hannah "banana," like we call her, is 2! She is into action figures just as much as her brother. We are slowly introducing her to Disney princesses and is a Little Mermaid fan. She loves to mimic her brother and follow him everywhere. She is my drama queen and the one that tests my patience the most.

Rachel is such a mellow baby. She is coming up to 7 months. She is my big baby! She is starting to become more interactive and sits up on her own. She is sleeping through the night and slowly eating solids. Her routine consists of eating, sleeping, and exploring the world. As long as she's fed and diaper cleaned she is content.
