Mother's Day

I had an amazing Mother's day! Thanks to Jacob, Malachi, & Hannah!

I finally got a sewing machine!!! I'm so excited! I have many projects in line already! Can't wait. When I lived in Provo I was able to borrow Tammy or Kristell's sewing machine. But now I live far, far away and that is not an option. So I am VERY happy to have one. I will post pictures later.

I also had a very delicious treat! Sweet Cream & Strawberries ice cream cake. It was very delicious! I'm always tempted to buy a quart of this ice cream when we're at Marble Slab and take it home. So Jacob thought it would be a good idea to have that cake.

Jacob cooked breakfast and dinner. Dinner, he made Chicken Marsala with pasta & mango slices on the side.

Ah how did you live without a sewing machine? Some days I wish Gavin was old enough to take care of himself so I can just sew all day! Enjoy :)
(what'd ya get?)

I know! I had so many ideas/projects for Hannah, which I can still do, I guess, before she was born and had more time. Like a quilt, though I did get two beautiful ones from sisters in my ward. Wash clothes, bibs, etc. I just have to find time for it now. I got a Singer. Love it! I'm not much of a sewer but I'm learning. I figured it can't be that hard right? I'll learn as I go!
