Christmas Wonderland

Sad to say that I took hundreds of pictures and they were all deleted from my camera. How? I still ask myself that question. All of those pictures were from our trip to Texas which included Christmas lights, Christmas Eve, Christmas day with extended family, spending time with Abueltio, Abuelita, Tia Tammy, Tia Moma, Tio, Adrian and Freddy. I think that was one of the saddest moments of the trip.

So I had to take pictures from my sisters' cameras. Not much but enough.

We left to Texas on the 19th! And were there until the 4th. It was some good needed holiday vacation!

It worked out too because Norma and Freddy spent it with us this year too so the WHOLE family was together.

Christmas Eve we had dinner at my parents' home. Tamales, posole, berry pie, cookies, and much more. We can never wait till the 25th to open presents in our home so after dinner and a spiritual fireside with opened gifts. :)

Malachi was the winner of the night with gifts galore from everyone. From Captain American to Iron Man truck. (I wish I had the pictures I took, his face showed it all)

On Sunday we went to Church and afterwards took some family pictures. It was really nice to have everyone together at Church.

Hannah fell asleep on the way home from Church so we didn't want to wake her up :(

Family Pastor

Norma and Freddy were there for only a couple of days and it was nice to spend time with them. We played Wii (Tammy's gift), Mortal Kombat on the PS3 (a family tradition), and went out to eat breakfast on Monday which ended up being a free meal because they took over an hour. We also watched Mission Impossible which is the last movie we watch at a theater with Hannah. She use to be easy to go to the movies, I would feed her and the darkness would put her to sleep. Not anymore. She wants to explore and walk around. I spent most of the movie in the corridor trying to watch -take care of her.

I love that smile!
It is always a Christmas wonderland when we spend it together with family in Texas and everyone is there! We had a good time and enjoyed each other's company much! I just wish we lived close by to hang out more often. But what do you do. That's life. And it makes us cherish those moments more fondly. Until 2013 my Texas family! (I'm sure we'll visit Texas before 2013 but not for Christmas. ;)

Oh no! That's so awful, at least your sisters took some pictures.

Oh darn, that is so sad that your Christmas pics got deleted! I always loved coming home to Indiana to visit family for the holidays. I feel super lucky to live so close to them now. :)
