First tooth!

So remember my recent blog about Hannah not having any teeth yet? Well, on Saturday, Jacob discovered, or felt I should say, a tooth on her bottom gums. You can't really see it. I tried taking pictures, no luck. But you can definitely feel it. This would explain her thumbsucking hobby these last couple of days.

And then it dawned on me that Hannah was 7 months on Saturday! I guess I can write in her journal memories that she got her first tooth at the age of 7 months. As soon as that tooth becomes visible I will post a picture. :)-

Isn't funny how often our kids odd (and occasionally difficult) behaviours are explained AFTER by something that makes us wish we'd been more patient?

Lainey was fussy as could be for a few days, and it turned out it was because she had thrush the poor thing. I felt SO bad for not being more understanding and patient with her.; August 29, 2011 at 2:56 PM

Our Story

Jacob and I met with the help of my uncle, David Martinez. My uncle was the bishop of a ward Jacob served in during his mission. He gave Jacob my cell phone number, or so Jacob thought, during a phone call Jacob had with him after his mission. I had already met Jacob during his last two weeks of his mission, Norma introduced us, because his last area was my home ward. Jacob and I started hanging out in Provo when Fall school semester started at the Y. And that's how it all started.

Jacob and I were married on June 2, 2007 in Dallas, Texas.

We lived in Provo, UT while both of us finished school on April 2010. Jacob majored in Sociology and I graduated in Chemistry.

We lived on the East Coast, Delaware to be exact, for almost 2.5 years! We enjoyed it. Made some amazing friends! I loved the warm, mild climate and all the green trees! I guess because it reminds me of good ole' Texas.

We recently moved to Frisco, Texas. And are loving the area!!

We have a 5 year old boy who's into action figures and loves music. He will start kindergarten this Fall 2013 and is learning to read. He is good at math. He has the most charitable heart and is the best big brother a sister could have.

Hannah "banana," like we call her, is 2! She is into action figures just as much as her brother. We are slowly introducing her to Disney princesses and is a Little Mermaid fan. She loves to mimic her brother and follow him everywhere. She is my drama queen and the one that tests my patience the most.

Rachel is such a mellow baby. She is coming up to 7 months. She is my big baby! She is starting to become more interactive and sits up on her own. She is sleeping through the night and slowly eating solids. Her routine consists of eating, sleeping, and exploring the world. As long as she's fed and diaper cleaned she is content.
