I mentioned on the previous post that we bought a family vacation package that included tickets to an Old Town Trolley Tour. It was a super idea!
We decided to take advantage of that on Thursday. Get to know the city. And then decide where we wanted to visit. We took a shuttle from the hotel to their main office and then started our tour. The trolley took you around the National Mall area. There were 12 stops. You could get off at any stop and catch another trolley later. They would come by the stops every 30 minutes.

| Hannah enjoyed the ride and was such a good baby! |

| That double stroller is BIG! |

| National Archives |
| Union Station |
| U.S. Capitol |
| Lincoln Memorial |
We made a stop at the Lincoln Memorial because it was the farthest away, walking distance, from our hotel.
| Malachi looked at these and said, "Mom, these are like Hercules!" |
| His Spider-man 'thumbs up.' |
| The reflection pool was under some work |
| At the top steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Luckily, they had an elevator! |

| White House view from the trolley |
| Spy Museum |
We decided to stop by the White House next. Didn't really have much luck to take good pictures because there were protesters around and Hannah needed to eat. Funny story too, we were chased by a very determined squirrel to get food from us! I believe we moved about 4 times before we were left alone.

Our next stop was the National Archives. Unfortunately they didn't allow cameras inside. But we saw the most important documents of this country; Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independance, and the Constitution. The real ones! There were so many neat things in that museum but weren't able to see it all. Malachi and Hannah were getting restless. But who could blame them, it was already 4:30 p.m. We'd been out and about since 9:30 a.m.
We went back to the hotel and ordered pizza. We were too tired to walk or drive anywhere. Afterwards, we enjoyed the pool!
