Mother's day celebration

Mother's day was a relaxed Sunday except for the fact that we had to get up early for church. We're almost half way through the year and I still find it hard to wake up at 6 a.m. I blame it on my tummy getting bigger. Our services start at 8:30 a.m. due to having 4 wards meet in the same building. Jacob is usually gone by 6:20 for bishopric meetings and I have just enough time to get ready, get the kiddos ready and eat breakfast.

So therefore, Jacob and Malachi decided to give me my presents late Saturday evening.
A HUGE cuddly bear- that has now become Hannah and Malachi's favorite

And jewelry
At church, Malachi had his first Sacrament meeting performance. The primary kids had a special singing number. Malachi was not shy at all to walk up when it was time. That was my favorite part of the day. Seeing him sing and realizing how much he has grown. He was the one who gave the me the title of "mother" first. I am grateful for being able to call this little guy my son. I've said this before but he is honestly the most caring and loving boy I know. I love it when he randomly comes up to me and puts his arm around me and says, "I love you mom." Not to mention what a good big brother he is. Hannah is very lucky to have him. Hannah is my other half of joy to being called a "mother." She has definitely proven to me that no two kids are alike! :) Lately, she's been into running up to me and hugging my leg. Which I cherish dearly. She's growing too fast for me.

Sunday dinner was courtesy of my lovely husband. He made salmon with white rice and a black bean avocado lime salad to go with it. It was very delicious! The salmon came out very juicy and tender!

Here's me cuddling with my bear! As you can tell he is definitely HUGE!!! I hope everyone enjoyed their special day!
