On our walk back to the car after practice ended I asked him, "Malachi what do you like to play more? Soccer or basketball?." He responded, "Basketball." To which dad was very happy. :)
So basketball will = no sleeping in on Saturday mornings for the next two months. Yikes! I mean, I guess I could stay home with Hannah and sleep in, right? But what kind of mom would I be if I wasn't there taking pictures. LOL No, I actually enjoy seeing him start learning basic skills and interacting with his dad and other kids.
After practice we found a NY Bagel place to eat breakfast. They had freshly made bagels. Malachi had hotcakes without syrup. He is strange like that. Or I guess in Jacob's words, a healthy eater. (Though he does love chocolate chip pancakes.) I tried getting him to add some syrup to his bites and he tried it once but didn't like it. We might just have to make it and outing for breakfast after practice on Saturdays!
